About Us

Voss Folkehøgskule Luftsportlag was founded by students and instructors at Voss Folk High School who shared a passion for air sports. What began as an informal group of paragliding enthusiasts has grown into a fully established club offering paragliding, skydiving, speedriding, and other air sports activities in Voss, Norway.

Voss is known as one of the best locations for paragliding in Norway, thanks to its unique thermal conditions, dramatic mountains, and wide valley that provide ideal flying conditions. From Hanguren and down the valley, Voss offers an experience that attracts pilots from around the world.

The club offers a wide range of courses for all levels — from beginner paragliding courses to advanced cross-country flying and tandem paragliding in Voss. Our experienced instructors are certified through the Norwegian Air Sports Federation (NLF) and have many hundreds of flight hours behind them.

In addition to paragliding, we offer skydiving in Voss, speedriding courses for those seeking an adrenaline rush, and various air sports events throughout the season. Voss is truly Norway's air sports capital.

Voss Folkehøgskule Luftsportlag is more than just a sports club — it is a community of people who share a love for the air, nature, and the joy of flying. We organize regular social gatherings, group trips, and competitions such as the Norwegian Paragliding Championship.
