Lars has over 20 years of paragliding experience and is one of Norway's most experienced instructors. He has flown in over 25 countries and trained hundreds of pilots.
A passion for the sky
Lars Halvor Bjørne started paragliding at 18 in 2004, inspired by the amazing mountains around Voss. After completing basic and progression courses in record time, he quickly moved on to instructor training.
Throughout his career, Lars has flown in over 20 countries and participated in several international competitions. He has expertise in thermal flying, XC (cross-country) and acro-paragliding.
As chief instructor at Voss HPK, Lars is responsible for developing course programs, training new instructors, and quality assurance of all course activities. He is known for his patient and thorough teaching style.
